Finding True Freedom The San Diego Chapter of OSL hosted the powerful, inspiring, and challenging 2016 Conference Finding True Freedom with internationally recognized speakers Hugh and Monte Bromily at Good Samaritan Church in San Diego April 22-23.  Hugh gave the evening address, introducing us to their way of praying with people and the foundational principles underlying it, an approach that is bit different from what most of us are accustomed to. You can order their CDs and other materials on their website, BethShalomTexas.com.  Monte taught a workshop Friday afternoon and they did team teachings on Saturday. They are both entertaining and insightful teachers; we learned so much from their wisdom.  New Region 7 Director Barbara McBride kicked of the conference and greeted attendees.  Raphael Martinez and his team provided worshipful music throughout the conference.  The weather and the setting were beautiful, and the turnout was terrific.  The morning refreshment room provided a popular gathering place before the conference Saturday morning.  The bookstore was well stocked with informative and inspiring materials from the Bromilys and other authors.  After lunch on Saturday, new members were inducted into OSL.  New full members were annointed, including one electronic annointing via smartphone!  |
